INVITATION Dear colleagues and friends of thoracic surgery. I have the honour and pleasure of inviting you to the 10th International Thoracic Surgical Congress held in Kecskemét, Hungary. The 25th anniversary of the foundation of the oldest European Thoracic Surgical Society will be celebrated on the congress. The first ''Trilateral Symposium'' began with the participation of the German Democratic Republic, Czechoslovakia and Hungary. Later it expanded with thoracic surgeons from Poland, Russia and other European countries. We would like to follow this 25-year tradition on this jubilee congress organized in Kecskemét, on of the most beautiful town of the Great Plain, in May 6-8, 2004.
